Frosty Wheels Auto Show 2004

The Frosty Wheels Auto Show has become a favorite mid-winter auto show for the ESM crew. ESM always enjoys hitting up Frosty Wheels, which is located at the Williamson County Agricultural Center in Franklin, Tennessee. This indoor show comes around right at the time when a few of us are starting to go through ASWS (auto show withdrawal syndrome). This show doesn't have bikini clad models walking around nor does it have a big time DJ spinning contemporary tunes, but what it does have are cars that are not garaged! Sometimes, this show has a ride or two, that has just been finished (or nearly finished) that has yet to be debuted in the first big auto show of the year, so that is always nice to catch a preview. Last year, this show had good attendance, considering it had snowed 10 inches just days before. This year, old man winter yielded and the show attendance increased, not only in just spectators, but in attendees as well. The weather was very good and there was enough to gawk at for a few hours. This show hosts mainly street rods and classic muscle cars, but there are always a handful of contemporary rides available as well. There was a car corral in the center of the arena, a food bar, and plenty of vendors. This show has become a regular attraction for the ESM crew and we recommend it to street rod and muscle car enthusiasts. Until next year.
