Elite Streets Magazine Presents - Fast Eddy's Hot Rod Art!
Copyright © Fast Eddy's Hot Rod Art 2007

Ed White (a.k.a. Fast Eddy), is a regular feature here at Elite Streets Magazine and seems to impress us with his radical renderings. Ed always uses an array of crazy options, wild wheels, and colorful paint concepts that wow even the biggest names in the industry. The 4-1-1 on Fast Eddy is that he has been drawing since Moses wore short pants. Obviously his talent has paid off for Ed is now one of the most sought after automotive artists in the industry.

As always, we encourage our readers to contact him if you need some foresight by having your project come to life on paper first (always helps to keep things rolling along... YOU KNOW!). All you have to do is dial: 281.455.2883. Ed is Texas friendly and just like the state in which he resides, has big ideas. Also, keep in mind that Ed can paint the real deal, too! If you want a wicked paint job on your ride, Ed can get it done for you. To catch a glimpse of more examples of Ed's work, go to www.fehrarules.com. Oh yeah, be sure to tell him that ESM sent ya!

2005 VW Beetle

First, we have a 2005 Beetle. (A WHAT?!?!?!) Yeah, well, Ed painted this one. An old local customizer named Charlie Van Natter was putting this one together and gave Ed a call. It's been lowered, and is dressed up with the sports model stuff. The Bettle adorns a set of Torque Thrust style wheels on it and Ed did his magic by setting it on fire. FYI: Charlie Van Natter is the guy who built the cars for the television show B.L. Stryker in the late 1980's and still has four in his shop.

Dodge Challenger AAR

This one is Ed's version of a Challenger AAR. Even though AAR's were Cudas, Ed decided to use Dodge since Plymouth isn't around anymore. Ed scoped out the AAR specific items and adapted them for the modern age. He also made it a convertible with color matched fabric. The Hemi actually breathes through the center opening in the hood, the others are for show to keep with the Challenger hood shape. Ed also put big inch rims in a design that looked like Dodge, but didn't look Foose-ish.

Pontiac GTO 6-5

Lastly, this is one of Ed's new GTO concepts. Anyone who knows Ed knows that he is a true GTO fanatic, so if the General is seeking new designs, Ed has them suited up and ready for production. This GTO represents the first of two designs of the original car, only sleeked out to optimize the compromise between style and functionality. Ed has dubbed this car the "6-5 GTO" because of its 1965 persuasion, yet with more edginess. The wheel package on this one consists of 20-inches up front with 22-inches filling up the rear. The wheels were designed to look like a Hurst mag mated to a Rally 1. Ed also informs us that he still thinks orange is kick-ass!
